Recreation and Sport Management Concentration

Students who choose to focus on Recreation and Sport Management within the Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and Recreational Therapy degree are prepared to plan, implement, market, evaluate, and manage recreational programs and events.

Recreational Therapy Concentration

Our degree program provides students with requirements necessary to become nationally certified and licensed in North Carolina. Students in this program learn how to assess client needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document and evaluate client progress and program effectiveness.

Accelerated B.S. to M.S. in Sport Management and Recreational Therapy

Qualified undergraduate students who are pursuing the B.S. in Sport Management and Recreational Therapy may apply for admission to the Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP). AMP students have the opportunity to graduate with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree, within a 5-year time period.
